Terms & Conditions

By booking a service with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms & conditions. These policies are in place to ensure professionalism, clarity, and an exceptional experience for every client. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!

BOOKINGS, RETAINERS & PRICING

  • Booking inquiries may be submitted via email, by completing a contact form, or a bridal inquiry form.

  • A booking or reservation is considered confirmed upon receipt of confirmation or approval from the Artist, along with a non-refundable deposit. You will also receive an email and calendar invitation with details regarding our policies/terms & conditions, and the balance due.

  • Non-refundable retainer of 40% of the service fee is required to secure all makeup appointments, which will be deducted from your final total balance of your service. The retainer serves as a signature to all terms & conditions listed, and the client agrees that the retainer fee fairly compensates the servicer, who is turning down other clients or potential projects in lieu of providing these services.

    • Provide a screenshot of your Zelle deposit to muacourtneyp@gmail.com. Suggested Format: “ Full Name, Date of Service, screenshot”.

  • Pricing or quotes are final.

PAYMENT

  • The remaining balance is due on the day of service, after makeup application.

  • Accepted forms of payment include: Zelle and cash only.

  • For group or bridal bookings, only one consolidated payment is accepted along with a signed contract.

CANCELLATIONS, RESCHEDULING

  • Should you need to cancel, we kindly require a minimum of 48 - hours' notice either through the booking site or via email prior to your appointment;

    • Bridal & Commercial/ Editorial photoshoot clients are advised to consult the signed contract for detailed cancellation terms and deadlines.

  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable

  • All service sales are final. No refund.

  • Same-day cancellations and no-call no-shows are subject to a full payment of the service booked.

    • No-call, no-shows will be banned from rebooking—no exceptions.

  • In the rare event the artist must cancel, all payments (including retainers) will be refunded in full.

IN-STUDIO APPOINTMENTS

  • Respect is the highest priority for every client, whether for travel or studio services; we reserve the right to refuse service in cases of disrespect or actions that threaten the safety of our staff.

  • Punctuality: Arrive at your appointment on time & come makeup-ready (clean face and no topical medications to avoid reactions with makeup products).

  • A grace period of ten (10) minutes is permitted; any failure to arrive after this timeframe will be regarded as a no-show unless otherwise stated—-necessitating the rebooking of the appointment and the provision of a new deposit.

  • No children or extra guests are allowed to reduce disruptions.

  • Minimize phone usage to ensure a smooth, stress-free, and swift experience.

  • The artist adheres to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, using professional-grade products and tools.

  • Clients are responsible for informing the artist of any skin sensitivities, allergies, or medical conditions prior to the service. The artist cannot be held liable for any reaction, condition, or issue arising from products applied.

  • With client consent, the artist may capture photos or short videos of the completed makeup for professional portfolio and social media purposes.X

TRAVEL & ON-LOCATION SERVICES

In addition to the “in-studio” appointments detailed above, the following terms and conditions apply to all travel and on-location services.

  • For on-location services, please ensure adequate lighting, seating, and space for setup.

  • The travel mileage allowance is incorporated within the $100 mileage fee. Should your service location surpass 30 miles from the studio located at zip code 20724, supplementary travel charges will be incurred.

  • Parking, valet, tolls, or accommodations (if required) will be the responsibility of the client and added to the final balance.

  • Commercial shoots, editorial, campaigns, or advertising work may require separate usage rights agreements and fees.

BRIDAL BOOKINGS

  • See bridal proposal/contract for detailed terms, conditions, and payment methods accepted.

FORCE MAJEURE

  • The Artist, known as Courtney P. Artistry, is not responsible for cancellations or delays due to events beyond reasonable control (including but not limited to severe weather, illness, accidents, or emergencies).

    In such cases, efforts will be made to reschedule or refund where appropriate.

**We reserve the right to refuse service to any client who is ill, exhibiting signs of illness, conditions that may compromise the safety of the artist or tools,

or who fails to adhere to our policies that may jeopardize the safety of the artist, or does not adhere to our policies. **
